To propose that the National Assembly for Wales:

 

1. Notes that:

 

a) women have made a huge contribution to the working life of Wales and continue to be a vital part of the Welsh economy;

 

b) it is nearly 100 years since women got the vote and nearly 40 years since the Equal Pay Act;

 

c) the Welsh Government has an important part to play in ensuring that there is not institutional discrimination present in the workplace.

 

2. Calls on the Welsh Government not to award any procurement contracts or Welsh Government grant monies to any company that does not have any female directors on their board.

To propose that the National Assembly for Wales:

 

1. Welcomes the achievement of the Welsh Government's autistic spectrum disorder strategic action plan.

 

2. Notes that more needs to be done to meet the needs of children and adults with autism in Wales.

 

3. Believes that placing specific duties on local authorities and health boards would lead to greater clarity on the care and support that people with autism can expect.

 

4. Calls upon the Welsh Government to introduce an Autism Act for Wales.

Legislation

4.1

Supplementary Legislative Consent Memorandum: Deregulation Bill

Minutes:

Business Committee considered a paper from the Government regarding a Supplementary Legislative Consent Memorandum (SLCM) in relation to the Deregulation Bill.

 

Business Managers agreed to refer the SLCM to the Environment and Sustainability Committee for scrutiny. The Business Committee also agreed that the Committee should report on the SLCM by Thursday 8 January 2015 to allow the Supplementary Legislative Consent Motion to be debated in Plenary on Tuesday 13 January 2015.
