Welsh Government investment in next generation broadband infrastructure - The Fourth Assembly
Following
publication on 28 May 2015 of the Auditor General for Wales’ report into Welsh
Government investment in next generation broadband infrastructure, the Public Accounts Committee considered how
the Welsh Government is managing the roll out of next generation broadband
services.
The
Committee’s Report
was published (PDF 332KB) in November 2015 and the Welsh
Government’s response (PDF 147KB) was laid on 25 January 2016.
The
Committee recommended in its Legacy Report, that its
successor Committee should consider taking further evidence from the Welsh
Government and BT in autumn 2016 to ascertain how progress has been made on the
rollout of the Superfast Cymru contract.
