P-04-444 : Dig for Victory
P-04-444 : Dig for Victory
We
call on the National Assembly for Wales to urge the Welsh Government to
introduce via local Councils a modern day Dig For Victory campaign.
With food prices continually rising and times of a recession, there is a
need once more to grow your own food, just like during ww2 when they introduced
a Dig for Victory campaign to make sure everyone was fed. If the Welsh Government introduced this via
their local councils by giving householders vouchers or seeds, compost, even chicken
arks and chickens (where suitable) then people would be a little better off
financially and also healthier. It would
also cut down on the amount of food we import thus cutting down on our carbon
footprint. Most people have a garden and
people without one can still grow some veg on patios and balconies. So come on lets Dig For Victory.
